i almost thought this place could be nice, but the parking was an absolute nightmare and nobody acted like they even cared. to top it off, i was really hoping for an upgrade but got nothing—definitley not the royal treatment i expected. i woudl ve been happy, but just couldn’t.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay, highlighted by the thoughtful amenities like universal power outlets and complimentary water bottles. Don't miss the pool area tucked away in a serene garden! Dining experience truly impressed us, especially the delightful butter chicken.

The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, ensuring our stay was pleasant. The laundry service was a lifesaver, and the outdoor pool was inviting, offering a great spot to unwind after long days of exploring. The restaurant's meals were superb, particularly the breakfast, which was one of the best I had during my travels in East Africa!

However, the parking could be a bit overwhelming at times.

The African Tulip offered a delightful stay in Arusha. My room was spacious, boasting a powerful shower, air conditioning, and a hot and cold water filter, which I found incredibly convenient. The breakfast spread was impressive, featuring fresh-made omelettes and local dishes, a great start to my day. I also enjoyed the cozy bar area and the attentive service from the staff, who even prepared a special meal for my dietary needs. Initially, I faced a bit of a hiccup with parking, which felt a bit chaotic but was manageable in the end. I would have appreciated some more evening entertainment options, especially for families. Overall, a lovely spot to rejuvenate before or after a safari.

Just an excellent fit for an overnight stopping in Arusha with value for price. The bed was super comfy, truly one of the best I’ve slept in during my trip. Arrive early to enjoy the breakfast buffet, it's really worth it.

I loved chilling by the pool and enjoying the stunning garden views. Plus, the staff made our stay even better, accommodating our requests while having our three dogs with us.

staying at the african tulip before and after our safari was a great choice. the hotel is conveniently located near the zanzibar lounge. the concierge’s help in arranging an afternoon safari drive was impressive. plus, the restaurant served a delightful breakfast, making our mornings special.
